The sun has risen, but it is terribly dark in Benjamin's apartment because of the huge sheet he has draped over the broken window.

It is usually blocked by some heavy wood, but yesterday Benjamin used the broken glass to dry his washed sheet.

After the young man left his house, Benjamin stayed curled up in bed until nightfall in a room as dark as a wolf's mouth. If it weren't for the horrible amount of disgusting filth that would make him lie on the floor and aggravate his condition, Benjamin wouldn't bother to get up just to wash his bedsheet.

There was nothing clean about Ground Zero, but fortunately the mattress was covered with a waterproof canvas that kept the dirt from getting inside, otherwise he would have thrown it away long ago.

When he woke up late that night, Benjamin found that the wet, sticky dirt had dried all over his body, making him look like a total mess. He ran to the bathroom and washed every inch of his skin with a damp cloth. His thighs, mouth, and asshole were covered in semen. Benjamin cried when he had to put a finger in his asshole to clean the inside. After that, the man proceeded to wash the bedsheet. He did not do it properly since his body was weak and it was very difficult when he was crying so much.

After cleaning up and hanging the bedsheet on the window, Benjamin finally went back to bed. He skipped all meals and covered himself with a winter blanket. But he couldn't fall asleep. He kept tossing and turning in bed because of the terrible flapping noises on the window. It scared him to death as he imagined that a man might come and rape him again.

And so it finally becomes morning.

It occurs to Benjamin that he has to go to work today. He doesn't want to. He is scared and traumatized. But on the other hand, an opportunity like this may never come again in his life. So Benjamin gets up. But a thought crosses his mind. What if he runs into that young man again at the hotel? Being at home is dangerous, but going to work is like walking into a lion's den!

Benjamin thinks about changing neighborhoods, but of course it is out of question. To get this far, Benjamin has had to spend more than half of his initial fortune.

Benjamin came here as a young man. Everything was a mess then. But now he has a huge pile of bills in his hands, the money the young man left him the night before. He doesn't like it at all, but it's not like he can just let it go. It's quite a large sum, but it's still not enough to allow Benjamin to move from place to place, as the price of everything has recently risen by more than half. He needs all the help he can get.

With a grim expression and still clutching the thick winter blanket in his hands, Benjamin sighs.

Then he hears a knocking. Benjamin is startled and hides a little more under his blanket.

"Hey, open the door!"

It is a different voice than the one he is afraid of. So Benjamin gets up and cautiously walks across his shabby room to open the door. Behind it stands the landlord, about fifty-five years old, with a big beard and a big belly.

"Did you forget that today is the day to pay the rent?"

"Ah... wait a bit."

Benjamin is anxious. He has completely forgotten about it because of what happened the night before. He looks around in a panic and puts his hands in his pockets before going back to his room. The huge wad of bills is still lying next to the bed.

Benjamin doesn't really want to use them, but what else can he do?

So he takes some of it and gives it to the landlord. The old man counts the money and looks Benjamin up and down:

"Were you sleeping? Aren't you going to work?"

"I'm taking a break because I'm sick."

"You're sick?"

The landlord speaks in a softer tone than usual. In the past, he would have just rudely taken the money and left, but today he decides to take a closer look at Benjamin. He asks him tongue in cheek:

"Are you in the prostitution business?"

"What, no! I don't do that!"

"No?"

The landlord wrinkles his forehead in an annoyed gesture. He pockets the money.

"Well, if you're going to do it, try to do it quietly. You know, there have been a lot of complaints from the neighbors lately."

Benjamin suddenly feels like a real prostitute. He wants to die. The landlord laughs.

"Take care of yourself. It's hard to find a tenant as quiet as you who also pays a good monthly rent."

"Yes..."

"Oh, and..." The landlord is about to walk away, but then turns around. He looks at Benjamin as if he is about to reveal a huge secret, and then he smiles. He has yellow teeth. "You know you have to pay me a fee if you want to do business here, don't you?"

"......"

"It's only 7% since I like you, so... it'll just feel like I raised the rent a little more..."
